This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.
I really dislike the fact that my mood is so congruent with the people around me. I hate how people have that influence and sometimes I just hate people. I dislike how my generalizations of humanity come from the people immediately surrounding me. Because I know that deep down, despite all of the misanthropic and stupid things that some people do, there is still hope and good left in the world. There are still people who pay it forward. There are still people who act selflessly without thinking twice about it. There are still people who believe in the love and care of other people. Altruism still exists but sometimes it’s so hard to believe in people and I feel like giving up on people would be so much easier. But when you do find a rare person that is so genuine that it makes your heart cry, it’s the most absolutely beautiful, and heartwarming feeling in the world and it just fills my hope tank for me to keep pushing on and trying to find the good in people.

Slow down, you crazy child
You’re so ambitious for a juvenile
But then if you’re so smart,
Then tell me why are you still so afraid?
Where’s the fire, what’s the hurry about?
You’d better cool it off before you burn it out
You’ve got so much to do and only so many hours in a day
Can’t get over this song and its relevant lyrics.
